Crewelwork Pincushion workshop at Tecstiliau, Bethel LL55 1AX

Join us for a relaxing and creative workshop exploring the beauty of traditional crewel embroidery. In this class, you’ll stitch a charming pansy design in fine Appletons crewel wool on Irish linen, then assemble it into a delightful pin cushion — a lovely piece to enjoy or gift.

Under guided instruction, you’ll learn classic stitches including long and short shading, stem stitch, fishbone stitch, and French knots. Discover how to blend colour and texture to bring your pansy to life while mastering techniques that can be applied to future embroidery projects.

Suitable for all skill levels. All stitching materials are provided — you will need to bring a 6" embroidery hoop and small sharp scissors.

Workshop is on Saturday 7th February 10am - 4pm.

Hot drinks are provided at the venue but please bring your own lunch.
