Why Makers Love Our Tools & Textiles

  • Rooted in history, made for today

Many of our textile tools are based on Iron Age and later archaeological finds, carefully reimagined for modern hands.

  • British wool at the heart

From felted artworks to historical fleece-to-fibre workshops, British-sourced wool runs through everything we do.

  • Crafted by a working textile artist

With over 30 years’ experience in embroidery and feltmaking, every piece is designed from a maker’s point of view.

  • Tools that feel good to use

Niddy noddies, spindle whorls, and bone needles are shaped, finished, and tested to sit comfortably in the hand.

  • Workshops that welcome all levels

From complete beginners to experienced makers, sessions are relaxed, supportive, and firmly hands-on.

  • A personal connection to place

The woods and mountains of Mid Wales, long dog walks, and seasonal changes all inspire the textures, colours, and forms in the work.
